The Sovereignty of god

God is Sovereign it is the only real lasting comfort the believer has in this world. Friends go family members die but God Almighty remains. This loving control God has over His creation was the pillow of stone that the prophets of old and the reformers laid there head on. More then God's sovereignty over His creation the greatest thing is His sovereignty over man in Salvation. I a poor lonesome wretch bring nothing except the empty hand of faith and only after God has regenerated me by His word and Spirit. That is the greatest greatness of The Almighty that He would save anyone even me an unregenerate God hater for as it says in The Book of Romans there is none righteous no not one. It is the knowledge of God's righteous wrath that I found in His Word. That His wrath would be poured out on the sinner for braking the law that cut to the quick my heart that works could not save that I had nothing and could give nothing to God that it was His act and choice to save me. There is an old song that goes "I've been born again those things I used to do I don't do anymore" I can say I am there the things of this world are a children's glass marble set compared to the abundantly rich glories of God His sovereign Grace and the Kingdom that will come. The truth is I have right standing with God because of my Saviour's imputed Righteousness that Jesus Christ is my Mediator that is my only chance to stand on Judgement day because God's wrath was taken out on my saviour The Lord Jesus Christ and He propitiated God's Wrath on my behalf. Oh the mercy and love of such a God as this. Turn from your sin pray that God would convict you of your sin and ray to be saved until God saves you then no longer a child of wrath will you be o sinner you will be a child of the most high.
