Why am I defending Calvinism?

Seriously why? It's just all kinda funny to me because I am the least qualified person to be defending Calvinism I am not worthy enough to carry John Calvin's beard trimmings. Yet alone defend the doctrines of Grace. This all started when I posted a video by Cross T.V. on The Rapture fourms and a quote by Arthur Pink. I don't need to defend my Dispensatonal "street cred" I did after all get banned from The Purtian board for "promoting" Dispensationalism. But when it comes to the doctrines of Grace that is something I am willing to die for. In all seriousness I am not the most knowledgeable person when it comes to rhetoric and debate. I know no Greek and no Hebrew but neither did John Bunyan so I guess I am in good company.Really the only reason I fight so hard is The five points of Calvinism are the gospel I was saved by God not because I "cast my vote for God" and chose to serve by my free will. Truth is like cream it always rises to the top. Also the arguments my opponents are making are to be blunt awful. One such argument is the God is so sovereign He gives us free will to choose Him argument. To be candid this is akin to saying my mom loves me so much she let's me play in noon day traffic. I loath debate I would rather serve God peaceably in His Kingdom then argue with others. But the truth must be defended so I will defend Calvinism till my dying day because it is the Gospel of God no mater what sophistry other men try to palm off as The gospel.
