I then thought to myself half jokingly "it's because she's dead inside" on further reflection I realized I stumbled upon a great truth the spiritual deadness in the unsaved can sometimes be manifested in there outward appearance and extreme example of this would be Glen Benton the lead singer of Deicide an virulently Satanic and anti Christian band who burned an upside down cross into his forehead to show his disdain for Christianity. This can also be shown in the cold detached almost aloof manner of other people or the willingness to scarify themselves for some distorted form of beauty. This all shows a lost soul who cares not one whit for the Temple of The Holy Ghost that is there body ( see 1 Corinthians 3:16-17) even though an unbeliever is not indwelt by The Holy Ghost they are created in God's image and to mar your visage is to mock God. The only way to cleanse the inner vessel is to come to Jesus and Repent of your sin because with out The Intersession of Christ and His Propitiation we are all lost there is none righteous no not one (See Romans 3:10-18). With out Christ you are lost and condemned to eternal Torment forever never to escape because God's Justice is not mocked it is not about having a relationship with God the unbeliever has one all ready it is a relationship of wrath and judgement what the unbeliever needs is a Mediator to propitiate God's wrath or they are lost eternally so in short what they need is Jesus Christ an His Atoning Cross Work flee from your sin or perish there is mercy for the lost children of Eve at Calvary's Cross fly now to God and repent in sackcloth and Ashes of your spiritual whordems and drinking from broken cisterns
